L-DOPA FACTS
L-dopa is the most researched amino acid in the world (over 250,000 various worldwide studies have been conducted on L-dopa.) L-dopa, also known as levodopa, for the past 45 years has been the best known treatment and most widely prescribed medicine for Parkinson’s disease. L-dopa is not a hormone and is not an artificial drug created by a chemist. It is a natural amino acid derived from food sources.
L-dopa is the precursor for the needed and beneficial neurotransmitter dopamine, and increases levels of dopamine in the brain.
L-dopa has been clinically studied and proven to increase growth hormone (hGH) levels.
Studies in 1970 discovered and clinically proved that Parkinson’s disease patients using L-dopa had significant increases in plasma growth hormone (hGH) levels. This was a wonderful and breakthrough discovery.
This offered those afflicted with the dreadful and devastating Parkinson’s disease, hope for an improved quality of life.
L-dopa supplementation was later tested on children that were short in stature and was found to significantly elevate growth hormone (hGH) levels.
In another clinical study on L-dopa supplementation, healthy young adults ( ages ranging from 31 to 44) increased growth hormone (hGH) levels by a staggering 221% and healthy older adults ( ages ranging from 64 to 88) increased growth hormone levels by an impressive 167%!
L-dopa supplementation has been studied and clinically proven to be an effective stimulator of Growth hormone (hGH) release. It is an alternative to those unwilling to inject prescription growth hormone (hGH) or those unable to afford prescription growth hormone injections.
